Patient Review Front Crown

" Dr. Dixon and his lab tech did a great job on my front crown. I had another awesome dentist (Bruce Johnson) install an implant (the metal anchor part) and then Dr. Dixon installed the crown (the actual fake tooth). It looks perfect, matches my other teeth exactly, works great and no complications. Dr. Dixon is a perfectionist, which I am grateful for. His staff are also super friendly and professional. I have no complaints and that is rare for me. My kids also have gone to his brother Eric Dixon for pediatric dentistry and no problems at all for the past 15 years. Awesome local family of dentistry professionals."

What is a dental crown? A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth as a cover to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance. The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line. Permanent crowns can be made from various materials including; stainless steel, all metal (such as gold or another alloy), porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic.
